There are many resources for learning about molten metal safety. One of the best resources is the Aluminum Association. Wagstaff's Technical Service Group can assist in finding information.

What technical support does Wagstaff offer?
Wagstaff operates a network of technical service engineers around the world to provide field support and training to users of Wagstaff equipment. In addition, Wagstaff has specialists on staff at the corporate headquarters to provide additional support when needed.

Can I purchase replacement parts from other manufacturers?
Wagstaff recognizes the importance of the cost and availability of replacement parts in operating a casthouse. Specialized replacement components, such as casting rings, should be purchased from Wagstaff to ensure proper operation of equipment. Wagstaff specializes in direct chill (D.C.) casting technology and equipment. Wagstaff works with several different companies around the world that are capable of providing turn-key casthouse solutions.

Where can we get help with economic justification for new casting equipment?
Wagstaff has developed several programs to determine economic justification of billet casting technologies, ingot casting technologies and casting machines. Your Wagstaff Area Manager can assist you.
